SPS 2021: Organizer relies on 3G rule

Taking into account the current Corona regulation of the Bavarian state government, the SPS will take place from November 23-25, 2021 in Nuremberg as a so-called 3G plus event. Fully vaccinated and convalescent people as well as people with a negative PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old are allowed to participate. This regulation enables a largely unrestricted trade fair experience with maximum protection against infection.

Sensor and measurement technology recorded significant sales growth in the first quarter, while sales stabilized at plus minus zero percent in the second quarter. Incoming orders in the industry developed positively overall with an increase of eight percent. Fraunhofer IPMS at the all about automation in Chemnitz

The "all about automation" is a trade fair for systems, components, software and engineering for industrial automation and communication. Jenoptik: Second quarter of 2021 also shines with high growth

Jenoptik achieves sales growth of 29.6 percent in the 2nd quarter 2021 compared to the previous year. Half-year sales increased by 18.3 percent to 389 million euros. Based on these figures, the optics group is increasing its targets for 2021 as a whole: sales are expected to rise to 880 to 900 million euros and the EBITDA margin to 19 to 19.5 percent.

Balluff: Groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of the headquarters

The sensor and automation manufacturer Balluff is building another office and administration building at its headquarters in Neuhausen a. d. F., Germany, which will accommodate 530 employees. Jenoptik achieved a 26.8 percent increase in order intake to 268.3 million euros in the first quarter of 2021. Sick with slight sales decline in 2020

Mitutoyo Corporation and Kitov Systems have signed a partnership agreement to integrate Kitov's automated planning and intelligent visual inspection technology into Mitutoyo's metrology solutions. As part of the deal, Mitutoyo will acquire shares in Kitov.
