USB Data Acquisition and Digital Control System

FEMTO offers LUCI-M, a compact, universal, and high-resolution USB system for data acquisition and device control

Photo

It is ideally suited for use with FEMTO amplifiers and photodetectors, but can also be flexibly used for general measurement and control applications.

Features: 16-bit ADCs digitize measured values with a bandwidth of up to 1.1 MHz. Depending on the model, two or four synchronously acquiring ADCs are available for multi-channel signal measurement with precise time correlation. Three 12-bit DACs control external devices or serve as a bias voltage source. 24 digital I/Os read status and alarm signals and switch external peripherals. LUCI-M can be permanently connected to FEMTO devices with a D-Sub-25 connector, such as the DLPCA-200. Thus, LUCI-M and the amplifier/photodetector combine to form a compact device. Thanks to its SCPI-compatible command set and USB interface, LUCI-M is not tied to any specific computer hardware, software, or programming language. It is platform-independent. Downloadable Python scripts demonstrating communication with LUCI-M make it easy to get started with programming. The examples include remote control of FEMTO products and use as a data acquisition system.

Applications: Ideally suited for controlling and acquiring data from complete laboratory setups. Perfect for all devices controlled with TTL signals. Multi-channel data acquisition with precise, simultaneous recording of all signals.
