Mitutoyo supports Karlsruhe Formula Student Team
Measuring equipment for "High Speed Karlsruhe" project
In the fall of 2006, three automotive technology students at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences founded the "High Speed Karlsruhe" project. Today, the team consists of 44 students from various disciplines. Particularly well represented are courses in automotive technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and economics. Mitutoyo supports it with precision measuring tools.
These include calipers for everyday use in the workshop or steel rulers for setting vehicle heights. Outside micrometers are used to check parts of the steering system before installation. In addition, a 3-point inside micrometer is used for various inside measurements.
Free measuring device training
In addition to the necessary measuring equipment, the company also offers free training courses on how to use it correctly. In addition, students can call on the specialists at Mitutoyo's branches in Germany at any time for advice if required.
