Vitector Acquired by Cedes

19.04.2022 - Fraba sells the Vitector division, which focuses on sensor systems for industrial doors, to the Swiss technology company Cedes.

The transaction enables the Fraba Group to focus its resources on the motion and position sensors business (Posital) and to pursue further developments in the aligned Wiegand sensor business (Ubito). the company can also focus on her manufacturing process consultancy (Credemus).

Christian-Erik Thöny, CEO of the Cedes Group, comments: “Vitector's products and technologies complement our existing portfolio and put us in a leading position when it comes to monitoring and controlling industrial doors. Our goal is clear: we want to be number one worldwide in the field of industrial door sensors.”

Cedes will continue to develop customized solutions for demanding industrial door sensor applications. After the business transfer, Vitector products will be sold under the brand "Vitector by Cedes".
