Agile Robots forms Krause Automation
Agile Robots has acquired the European and North American assets of Thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering and will continue to operate the business under the name Krause Automation
The company thus bundles AI-based robotics solutions with more than 75 years of experience in planning and implementing automated production systems. In addition to the automotive industry, the combined portfolio increasingly addresses sectors such as consumer electronics, medical technology and logistics.
Customers receive an extended end-to-end offering from the early concept phase to industrial robots and AI software through to complete system integration. The focus is on the "Physical AI" approach: robot systems that detect their environment, learn from industrial data and adapt processes in real time. Agile Robots contributes a large R&D team and over 20,000 installed robotic solutions worldwide. Krause Automation will remain organizationally unchanged under CEO Rolf-Günther Nieberding and will add established locations and supply chains in important industrial markets to the network.
