Atlas Copco Discontinues the IPG Precision and IPG Mobile Projection Systems
Atlas Copco will be phasing out the IPG Precision (formerly Werklicht Pro S/SM) and IPG Mobile (formerly Werklicht Pro L) projection solutions over the coming months. Final orders can be placed through September 18, 2026; after that date, the products will no longer be available for purchase.

This move follows the acquisition of Extend3D in 2023 and the resulting realignment of the product portfolio. According to Atlas Copco, the company intends to consolidate its resources to provide a more unified product offering.
This decision has no impact on existing contracts: warranty and guarantee services, maintenance agreements, and related support services will continue to be provided in accordance with the applicable contractual terms. Customers with active warranty or service agreements will continue to receive the specified services even after production has been discontinued.
Support and Alternatives Through the Customer Centers
The local customer centers are the points of contact for questions regarding equipment, maintenance agreements, warranty and guarantee claims, repairs, or technical support. Before sending in devices, please contact your local support team first. Regarding new projection solutions based on the IPG platform, the Customer Centers can provide information on available alternatives, including options from the Smart Integrated Assembly Solutions portfolio.
