Sick increases sales in 2025
In the 2025 financial year, the company increased its turnover to 1.85 billion euros, an increase of 6.5% compared to the previous year.

Adjusted for currency effects, growth would have amounted to 9.3%. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fell slightly to EUR 54.7 million, while the EBIT margin was 3.0% and therefore at a low level.
The Asia-Pacific region in particular, especially China, recorded double-digit growth rates. In EMEA and the Americas, growth was around four and under three percent respectively, while special effects in Germany resulted in a significant increase. Weak markets, unfavorable exchange rates, trade conflicts and increasing competitive and price pressure, particularly from China, had a negative impact.
The number of employees remained almost stable at 10,158. Sick continued to invest heavily in research and development in order to advance sensor solutions for automation, logistics and industrial AI. Despite geopolitical risks and high energy costs, the company is cautiously optimistic for 2026 and is focusing on efficiency improvements and a clear focus on core markets.
