Hummel's Plant Expansion Boosts Metal Processing and Resource Efficiency
The goal is to strengthen production capacity and ensure long-term supply for customers in the metalworking industry and related sectors.

Hummel is expanding its facility in Denzlingen and investing 35 million euros in two new buildings as well as a state-of-the-art plant for the recovery and treatment of process fluids. The goal is to strengthen production capacity and ensure long-term supply reliability for customers in the metalworking industry and related sectors.
The new technology recovers lubricating and cooling oils from exhaust air, treats them, and returns them to the production process. By 2027, one of the new facilities will house an electroplating plant for nickel plating with integrated heat and wastewater recovery. At the same time, the turning and milling shops are being relocated from the previous site in Waldkirch to Denzlingen and consolidated into a central, state-of-the-art production area. In doing so, Hummel is consolidating its manufacturing operations and laying the foundation for more efficient, resource-efficient metalworking processes.
