Embedded Vision Summit becomes part of SPIE Photonics West
From 2027, the conference will be organized as an independent track within SPIE Photonics West

The Edge AI and Vision Alliance and SPIE, the professional society for optics and photonics, have announced a strategic realignment of the Embedded Vision Summit. From 2027, the conference will be organized as an independent track within SPIE Photonics West. The event will take place from February 2 to 4, 2027 in San Francisco as part of Photonics West.
The aim is to combine the established specialist program on embedded vision, edge AI and physical AI with the international reach and ecosystem of Photonics West. This will result in closer integration with related disciplines such as optics, photonics, imaging and sensor technology. Exhibitors and sponsors gain access to a larger professional audience, while participants benefit from expanded networking and collaboration opportunities.
The Edge AI and Vision Alliance will remain an independent organization and will continue to support the Summit program as well as other offerings such as Innovation Forums, market research and online resources.
