Change in management at Mayr Antriebstechnik

The year 2022 is a special year for the family company Mayr Antriebstechnik: The managing partner Ferdinand Mayr and great-great-grandson of the company founder takes over the position of CEO from Günther Klingler.

Mayr Antriebstechnik is managed by the fifth generation. Ferdinand Mayr has been running the business together with his grandfather Fritz Mayr and Günther Klingler as CEO since the end of 2018. The latter joined the family business in 1980, was appointed to the management board in 1991 and has been Managing Director of Mayr Antriebstechnik since 2006. Before Günther Klingler retires next year after more than 40 years with the company, he has already handed over the position of CEO to Ferdinand Mayr. Günther Klingler will remain part of the management until retirement and actively supports and accompanies the change process in an advisory capacity.

The management is also supported for all strategic and operationally relevant topics by a newly founded management team. This consists of Johann Eberle, Head of Sales and Marketing and authorized signatory since May 15, 2022, Peter Daffner, Head of Order Center and Logistics, Christoph Dropmann, Head of Research and Development and Renate Wörle, Head of the Management Office.
