ZVEI appoints Phoenix Contact manager to the board of directors
Ulrich Leidecker, Chief Operating Officer, was elected to the Association's Executive Board at the General Meeting
Leidecker was previously Chairman of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional office. The election underlines Phoenix Contact's commitment to the association and the industrial transformation.
As one of the largest industrial associations in Germany, the Zvei represents the interests of the electrical and digital industry. In cooperation with companies, politics and science, the association addresses topics such as electrification, digitalization, industrial AI and the energy transition.
Personnel changes were also announced at the meeting: Frank Stührenberg, former CEO of Phoenix Contact, was bid farewell after 15 years as treasurer and awarded the golden badge of honor. Johannes Kalhoff, a long-standing member of the Board of Directors in the Measurement Technology and Process Automation division, received the gold badge of honor for his commitment.
