Technotrans completes merger and renaming of its companies
It is a key milestone for the implementation of the group’s Future Ready 2025 strategy: The one-brand strategy was successfully implemented.
All the Technotrans SE companies, with the exception of GDS GmbH which specializes in technical documentation, now operate under the name of the Technotrans umbrella brand. In addition, the technology supplier has also completed the merger of Technotrans SE and KLH Kältetechnik GmbH as well as Technotrans Solutions GmbH and Reisner Cooling Solutions GmbH. From now on Termotek GmbH will be operating under the name of Technotrans Systems GmbH. The current product and technology portfolio will be maintained and is to be systematically expanded further in future. The full organizational integration of the individual companies into the group is to be completed in the first half of 2022. These measures will strengthen the group’s position as a leading innovator in the field of thermal management. The group is consolidating its knowledge and skills to enable it to operate even more efficiently, flexibly and effectively in its major markets.

“With the transition from a group of several affiliated companies to a strong brand, we are fulfilling one of the most important steps in the history of Technotrans as a company. The centralized control of the functional areas makes it possible for us utilize group-wide synergy effects for our customers,” says Michael Finger, spokesman of the board of Technotrans SE. As a consequence of the transformation process, the group is consolidating its market and industry expertise as well as its application know-how in the field of thermal management. With the uniform image as a strong, future-proof brand, Technotrans is aiming to become an even stronger player on a national and international level.
At the annual general meeting, the board of management reiterated its expectation of achieving consolidated revenue of between 220 and 230 million euros in the 2022 financial year, with an EBIT margin in a range between 5.0 % and 6.0 % and a ROCE between 12.5 % and 14.0 %. The forecast is subject to the proviso that the current challenges of the economic environment do not worsen. The medium-term forecast for 2025 remains unchanged.
The Technotrans group made a positive start to the 2022 financial year despite increased challenges. The strategic focus markets plastics, energy management, healthcare and analytics, and print, as well as the selectively covered high-end laser market, recorded a gratifyingly high level of demand.
In the selectively considered laser and machine tools market, the strategic focus on selected EUV and high-tech laser applications was also confirmed by the increased revenue.
