Partnership for robot innovation in shipbuilding

Neura Robotics, HD Hyundai Samho, and HD Hyundai Robotics have entered into a strategic partnership to develop and test special robots for shipbuilding.

The goal is to create four-legged and humanoid welding robots to increase efficiency, safety, and productivity in the industry. This initiative is gaining importance in light of the shortage of skilled workers. HD Hyundai Samho is providing test environments and verifying practicality, while HD Hyundai Robotics is providing technological support. Neura Robotics is contributing its cognitive robotics technology.

David Reger of Neura Robotics emphasizes the versatility of cognitive robots in demanding environments. Sanghun Ryu of HD Hyundai Samho and Younghoon Song of HD Hyundai Robotics highlight the importance of cooperation for safe and productive shipyards.
