Sick celebrates company anniversary

Dr. Erwin Sick founded his company in South Baden in September 1946. It is now 75 years old. At an official ceremony at the company's headquarters in Waldkirch on September 24, 2021, invited guests and companions from politics, business and science, together with the founding family Sick and the board of directors, paid tribute to the past 75 years and took a look into the future. A week earlier, employees celebrated an outdoor music and culture festival lasting several days.

Fraunhofer IPA is being expanded

The Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA is getting a new building in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. With the groundbreaking ceremony on September 27, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, symbolically opened the construction site together with Thomas Bauernhansl, director of the Fraunhofer IPA, and the architect Stephan Birk.

Yaskawa is building new European headquarters near Frankfurt
