Lutz Steiner is Senior Vice President Innovation at Lenze

Lutz Steiner has been Senior Vice President Innovation at the Lenze Group since April 1, 2022.

In the position created especially for this purpose, he will manage the entire innovation of the Lenze Group and will strategically advance the technological roadmap. For him, new technologies and digitization are the key to a sustainable Industry 4.0 that uses energy, materials and working hours more efficiently and thus further reduces the waste of resources.

In addition to extensive experience in the international automation industry and in innovation management, he brings with him the necessary scientific and technical expertise to control research and development activities in a targeted manner. He studied electrical engineering and information technology with a focus on automation technology at the TU Darmstadt and received his doctorate there in the field of building automation and renewable energies. Most recently, Steiner was responsible for R&D Building Automation Solutions Asia Pacific at ABB China.
