New President at Mitsubishi Electric
The company has appointed Tomohiro Yoshida as President of the Factory Automation Division for the EMEA region

Yoshida began his career at the Nagoya plant in 1992 and has since held various leadership positions within the Group, including Head of Inverter Development and most recently as Managing Director of the Factory Automation Division in India.
With his appointment in October 2025, Yoshida is pursuing the goal of transforming Mitsubishi Electric into a solution-oriented partner for OEMs, system integrators and end users in Europe. The focus is on application-specific, scalable automation solutions and a stronger customer orientation to increase market share. In the face of challenges such as volatile energy prices and growing cyber threats in the OT sector, Yoshida emphasizes supporting customers with automation technologies to ensure their resilience and competitiveness.
