Macnica ATD Europe takes over Indesmatech

Macnica ATD Europe has acquired technology and consulting specialist Indesmatech to expand its commercial and technical presence in Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Indesmatech specializes in semiconductor manufacturer representation, design-in support, consulting and online sourcing and has established customer relationships in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the UK and Poland as well as partner collaborations in Germany.

Indesmatech focuses on IoT, communication and power, embedded computing, memory and ASIC as well as audio and sensor applications and complements the existing portfolio of Macnica ATD Europe. Both companies pursue closely related go-to-market approaches: Macnica ATD Europe focuses on architecture-based system solutions, Indesmatech on a project-oriented model from chip selection to system implementation. At the heart of the acquisition is Indesmatech's "Rep 2.0" model, which combines marketing, design support, production, supply chain management, direct pricing and CTO support to support customers early in the design cycle.
