Innovavent expands management
The company’s founder and managing director Hans-Juergen Kahlert transfers duties in 2022.
Innovavent Laser Optics develops and manufactures line-beam and homogenizer optics for annealing and laser lift-off applications used in the display and semiconductor industry. The company was founded 2003 in Goettingen, Germany. Since 2011 the Korean system integrator EO Technics, Anyang, is shareholder and the key integrator of Innovavent optics systems.
On January 1, 2022, Dr Sebastian Geburt, was appointed managing director. He was with Innovavent since 2013, most recently as head of research and development. Together with Dr Denis Bolshukhin, head of manufacturing and operations and EVP since 2020, Geburt will organize the management transfer in 2022 with the founder and managing director Dr Hans-Juergen Kahlert.
The company’s optics are developed for solid-state lasers from infrared to ultraviolet, cw, ns and sub-ps. The Innovavent application lab offers process feasibility testing.
Cooperation with several laser manufacturers provides a variety of configurations for new applications and innovations. The company currently counts 17 employees.
