InfraTec can look back on 35 years of company history in infrared sensor and measurement technology. Founded in 1990 as an engineering office, the company has developed into a globally active provider with more than 240 employees in the sensor and infrared measurement technology divisions. The portfolio ranges from multicolor detectors for gas analysis to thermography systems for research, development and industrial applications.
Early solutions such as the Fire-Scan system for thermographic early fire detection in waste bunkers mark the company's entry into automated monitoring and process applications. Since 1998, InfraTec has been offering its own thermography software family under the Irbis brand, which is continuously being further developed and ranges from 24/7 process monitoring to lock-in thermography.
Today, the focus is on stationary high-end thermographic cameras, in particular the ImageIR series developed in Dresden. Supplemented by TarisIR and VarioCam, InfraTec covers applications ranging from quality control and non-destructive testing to object monitoring with more than 30 camera models.
