Matjaz Novak, CEO of EVK, states, "This is our next step in expanding our presence in the Italian market. Our collaboration with HDM provides our Italian customers with EVK's top-of-the-line technology while offering world-class local support, integration services and customer-focused application development."

Rossano Codeluppi, President of HDM, added, "We can now offer our customers sensor-based ecosystems that go far beyond visual inspection. With EVK's new product portfolio, we can also see material properties such as the chemical composition or, for example, the conductivity of the processed materials in real time, enabling us to offer inline inspection and the highest sorting accuracy."

As part of this cooperation, HDM has expanded its product portfolio to include hyperspectral imaging cameras, inductive sensors and data analysis products from EVK. As a result, HDM is targeting its offering to customers in sensor-based sorting and monitoring. Applications such as foreign object removal in food processing, waste separation or plastics recycling can thus be served.
