EPIC hires photonic technologies program manager
Photonics expert to support technical needs of the growing association
The European Photonics Industry Consortium has become the world’s largest photonics industry association, representing more than 700 members companies. To address the needs of all its members, EPIC is strengthening its team by recruiting a photonic technologies program manager: Dr Panagiotis Vergyris started in October 2021, and it is supporting the technical needs of the growing membership as well as the EU-funded initiatives.
Panagiotis has an MSc in applied mathematics and physics and an MSc in microsystems and nanodevices. He completed his studies with a PhD in quantum technologies. He has a strong international profile coming from his experience in several European countries. In the last seven years, he grew professionally in a highly technical environment, where he developed a deep understanding of complex concepts and technologies.
