EMVA Appoints Peter Stiefenhöfer as Media Relations Manager
The EMVA has appointed Peter Stiefenhöfer as its new Media Relations Manager. The image processing expert will take over press relations duties from Andreas Breyer.

The European Machine Vision Association (EMVA) has reorganized its public relations efforts. Peter Stiefenhöfer is taking over the position of Media Relations Manager effective immediately, succeeding Andreas Breyer, who held this role for the European industry association for many years.
With Stiefenhöfer, the EMVA gains a proven expert in the machine vision industry. The former editor of the trade journal *Markt & Technik* and former marketing manager at Stemmer Imaging has many years of experience in technical journalism as well as in marketing technologies that require explanation. Through his agency, PS Marcom Services, he supports numerous companies in the industrial machine vision sector with their press and marketing activities.
EMVA Secretary General Thomas Lübkemeier also paid tribute to the work of his predecessor, Andreas Breyer, who had supported the association in the areas of market research and public relations since 2008. Breyer will now be responsible for the international coordination of the open-source iiRDS standard at tekom Deutschland.
Meanwhile, the EMVA continues its industry work and will once again organize the “International Machine Vision Standards” joint booth at Vision 2026 in Stuttgart. There, machine vision experts will present the latest versions of the most important hardware and software interface standards for industrial machine vision. The booth is located in Hall 8 at booth 8E46.
