06.06.2017 -
The Embedded Vision Alliance website offers new interesting new content about the Embedded Vision summit. Presentation videos from last month's Summit are now appearing on the Alliance website. The first set of published videos includes:
- "1,000X in Three Years: How Embedded Vision is Transitioning from Exotic to Everyday" from the Alliance
- "Computer Vision on ARM: The Spirit Object Detection Accelerator" from ARM
- "How to Start an Embedded Vision Company" from Cognite Ventures
- "The Battle Between Traditional Algorithms and Deep Learning: The 3 Year Horizon" and "Making OpenCV Code Run Fast" from Intel
- "Video Cameras Without Video: Opportunities For Sensing With Embedded Vision" from Michael Tusch (also see Alliance founder Jeff Bier's column on this presentation)
An initial set of demonstration videos taken at the Summit's Technology Showcase come from Xilinx and partner Avnet, both covering aspects of Xilinx's reVISION software stack. Also see the recent Summit-themed blog posts from Imagination Technologies, Luxoft and NXP Semiconductors, as well as the Alliance's press release announcing the winners of the Summit's Vision Tank start-up competition. Additional demonstration and presentation videos from the event will follow in the coming weeks.
