Delta begins construction of a development center
Delta has broken ground for a modern development center in Emmendingen.
In partnership with Goldbeck, the building with an area of 7480 square meters will be completed by 2027 and will provide space for over 200 employees. The project aims to strengthen the Freiburg region and meet the highest energy efficiency standards. The location in the Lerchacker business park was chosen due to the support of the community and Delta's sustainability goals. The center will implement state-of-the-art energy-saving solutions to achieve the DGNB Gold standard.
The building includes workstations, laboratory space and a showroom for Delta technologies. Sustainability is a focus, with a solar roof for self-sufficiency and a draught-free air conditioning system. This expansion underlines Delta's commitment to the region and the principles of the circular economy.
