By combining local engineering expertise, manufacturing know-how and customer proximity, the aim is to shorten development cycles and design solutions close to the market. The center works closely with the technology centers in Germany and Hungary and is part of a global network in which over 500 employees worldwide work on new automation solutions.

Balluff plans to invest around 15 million euros in the site over five years. Around 25 developers will be employed in the initial phase, with plans to expand to more than 50 employees in the medium term.
