Bachmann introduces new managing director
Daniel Pfeifer was appointed to the position with effect from January 1, 2026
He succeeds Bernhard Zangerl, who is leaving the company. Daniel Pfeifer has been with Bachmann Electronic since 2021 and is currently responsible for the technical area as Director Technology. Previously, he worked for many years in management positions at internationally successful industrial companies, including Doppelmayr Seilbahnen and Escatec. A graduate engineer in electrical engineering and information technology (Technical University of Munich), he has experience in development, technology management and international leadership.
In his new role, Daniel Pfeifer will take over the management of the Technology, Sales, Application and Marketing divisions. Beat Rünzler, previously Managing Director for Business Administration, will also be responsible for Operations. As part of the organizational development, Christoph Bacher and Roman Gächter will be given full power of attorney.
