ABB Machine Automation (B&R) Appoints Christian Strahberger as New Division President
He succeeds Florian Schneeberger, who died in a tragic accident in April.
Strahberger, who earned his Ph.D. in semiconductor physics from the Technical University of Munich, brings 25 years of leadership experience with financial responsibility in mechanical engineering, drive technology, motion control, and power electronics. He is joining from Danfoss, where he most recently served as Chief Technology Officer and Head of Chip Manufacturing at Semikron Danfoss. Prior to that, he held senior technology and business leadership roles at Singulus Technologies, Schottel, and Voith.
In his new role, Strahberger aims to drive targeted innovation and translate future technologies into market-relevant solutions. The goal is to help customers increase productivity and competitiveness while operating in a more sustainable manner.
