Flexible Thermal Cameras for Use in Industry
Thermography is now essential in industrial workflows. With advanced cameras and intelligent algorithms, thermal imaging can be tailored to processes and opens new opportunities for manufacturers.

Thermographic data – that is temperature distributions and profiles – can be used to efficiently monitor and control temperature-dependent processes and procedures in industry[UB1] . Besides thermographic cameras Infratec offers comprehensive automation solutions – ranging from individual problem analysis up to turnkey project delivery, including maintenance and user trainings.
Full Control of Monitored Processes
Indu‑Scan base serves as an entry‑level system solution for reliable 24/7 industrial themography. It includes up to three thermographic cameras, automation software and industry PCs. The system supports continuous thermographic temperature measurement and processes monitoring for early detection of faults and their causes. The automation solution enables remote camera, a structured display of live images from all IR cameras, and visualization of temperature‑time curves. Warning and alarm temperatures can be defined for up to three cameras simultaneously, and digital output signals can be transferred to the production line. Clear presentation of the user‑defined test areas and detailed event logging help maintain full control.
The original solution has been continuously enhanced over the years. Most recently, algorithmic intelligence has significantly expanded its capabilities. Indu-Scan 4.0 uses machine-learning methods for component recognition and spatial localization as a starting point for simultaneous, partially multi‑stage multi‑spot analysis. It also enables transformation of non‑linear thermal signatures and heat flows using advanced software tools incorporating experience‑based algorithms.
