EMVA Event Calendar 2020

The year 2020 is once again packed with events around machine vision. So there will again be plenty of opportunities for networking, professional exchange and training. Peering into 2020 the EMVA once again proposes a series of key events that have been established in the European and even more international machine vision community either as standalone conferences or alongside important trade shows. Starting point in spring is the forum “Control Vision Talks” during the first three trade show days at the 34. Control trade fair in Stuttgart. From 5 to 7 May, this series of application oriented presentations brings hands-on implementation examples and new machine vision technology to the visitors of this leading international trade fair for quality assurance. By end of the same month, the “Parma Vision Night” again takes place on the evening prior to the opening of the SPS Italia in Parma, offering a specific networking opportunity to the stakeholders of machine vision technology in Italy. This is followed by the highlight event in the first half year, the EMVA Business Conference which will be held from 25 to 27 June in Sofia/Bulgaria.
After the summer break, from 10 to 11 September, the fifth edition of the European Machine Vision Forum will take place this time in Cork/Ireland again under the slogan “Where Research meets Industry.” Focal topic in 2020 will be “Accuracy, Reliability and Limits of Machine Vision.” And after one year of absence, the last quarter 2020 will clearly be dominated by Vision 2020 taking place from 10 to 12 November at Messe Stuttgart. Here, the EMVA again will act as leading organizer of the International Machine Vision Standards Booth jointly with its partner associations around the world. Furthermore, in good tradition on the evening prior to the trade fair opening, the EMVA hosts the EMVA International Vision Night, a get-together event in the forefront of the busy trade show days. This event will take place in a new location paying tribute to pure local Swabian food traditions.
