Wireless differential pressure transmitter with BLE signal

The AMS 4516 pressure sensor is small and transmits wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.2 BLE. The pressure ranges extend from 0–5 mbar to 0–1 bar differential and from ± 5 mbar to ± 1 bar as bidirectional differential versions. An absolute pressure version is also available as AMS 4506.

The sensors are calibrated, linearized and temperature compensated. The accuracy of the sensors depends on the pressure range and is between 0.5 and 1.5% FSO over the entire temperature range. Power is supplied by an easy-to-replace button cell battery (CR2032).

For an application-specific configuration of the sensor, it can be connected to a smartphone or tablet. The sampling and transmission rate for the sensor readings can be set from 100 ms up to 500 s via the app. The battery life depends on the configuration of the sensor and can be up to 3 years with a standard button cell of approx. 230 mAh.
