The system can replace sensors such as lidar and enables 3D imaging and precise object detection with certified safety reliability. Sonair aims to support applications in which humans and robots work together. The compact 3D ultrasonic sensors used for this purpose enable omnidirectional depth perception, which is necessary for navigation in complex environments.

Unlike bulky and expensive systems, Sonair offers:

  • the switch from 2D lidar to true 3D vision,
  • extended safety zones for human-robot interaction,
  • cost-effective potential,
  • and a compact format for seamless integration.
