Real-Time Material Detection with Hyperspectral Camera and Data Processing Platform

The real-time capable EVK ALPHA G100 data processing platform and the HELIOS EC32 hyperspectral camera, which is characterised by its signal-to-noise ratio, enable the necessary solutions in real-time material recognition for industrial applications in sometimes harsh environments. A developed functionality extension, which enables classification in up to 100 material classes, also contributes to this.

Tasks such as the classification of individual polymers in complex plastic streams, the evaluation of refuse derived fuels (RDF) as well as the extraction of contaminants and the analysis of quality defects in the food industry are the areas of application of the EVK solution.
