In its business division Laser & Opto Electronic, BFi OPTiLAS sells optical components for applications from UV to IR. Our product range includes standard components, custom optical components as well as assemblies and systems.

Especially leading universities and research facilities appreciate our service: approx. 400.000 standard components, most of them available within three weeks; single pieces up to production runs, on demand also with custom coatings.

Manufacturing of high-grade custom optics requires the specialized knowledge of modern production processes (e. g. molded optics, magnetorheological finishing, diamond turning).

• Light Shaping Diffuser®
Light Shaping Diffuser for homogenization of light sources (e. g. LED’s) and laser beams. LSD’s can be produced in combination with optical lenses, filters or prisms. Manufactured injection molded for custom applications and production runs.
Main advantages of Light Shaping Diffusers: high transmission (92 %), weight reduction by saving of subassemblies, exact diffusion angles, producible in individual forms.
