Zeiss is planning a change in personnel management
From September 1, 2021, Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf (52) will take over as Head of Corporate Human Resources at the Zeiss Group.
She succeeds Franz Donner (60), who will take early retirement on October 1, 2022 after the end of the next financial year. Until then, he will work fully and then on a daily basis as Senior Advisor for Zeiss in order to be able to use his experience to support the further development of HR work in the Zeiss Group.
Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf is a law graduate. She worked as a specialist lawyer for labor law before starting her professional career as an industrial manager at Lanxess AG in 2004. There she took on various HR functions and managed their future-oriented development. Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf is currently working as Managing Director and Labor Director at the Currenta Group, a former joint venture between Bayer AG and Lanxess AG to operate the large chemical sites in North Rhine-Westphalia. Her areas of responsibility included, for example, Head of Human Resources, Head of the Education Business Unit, Head of Corporate Development & Regulatory Affairs and Head of the COVID-19 crisis team.
With the planned approach, Susan-Stefanie Breitkopf and Franz Donner should jointly ensure the best possible transition.
