Steute Technologies buys Kiepe Industry

Steute Technologies, backed by Battery Ventures, has acquired the industrial switching technology specialist and part of Kiepe Electric GmbH

Known since the 1960s, Kiepe develops durable safety and monitoring solutions for industries such as mining and agriculture. The Düsseldorf-based company offers reliable products through an international network. With the integration of KIEPE, steute is expanding its portfolio to better serve customers in demanding environments, including explosion-proof applications.

Martin Kunz, CEO of steute, emphasizes the growth potential in strategic markets. Birgit Sacha from Kiepe sees the cooperation as a logical step towards increasing customer benefits. Jesse Feldman from Battery Ventures sees the merger as having the potential to become a global leader in industrial switching solutions.
