Yxlon changes its name to Comet Yxlon
At the Control trade fair, Yxlon announced that the company will be renamed Comet Yxlon from September 8, 2022.
With the new brand, Yxlon wants to underscore its long-standing affiliation with Comet, a technology company with a focus on plasma and X-ray technology.
Yxlon's entrepreneurial roots stretch back to the discovery of X-rays by W.C. X-ray 1895 and the manufacture of the first X-ray tube by C.H.F. Mueller returned in 1896. Based in Hamburg, YXLON International GmbH has belonged to the Swiss listed parent company Comet Holding AG since 2007, which combines several technology areas under one roof.
