Wika expands management team
Axel Schwerdtfeger takes over management of Process Solutions
The Wika Group welcomes Axel Schwerdtfeger as the new Executive Vice President of the Process Solutions division. Since October 1, he has been in charge of the strategic development of the product and service portfolio and supports the measurement technology manufacturer's global corporate strategy. Schwerdtfeger's focus is on the creation of innovative solutions with high customer added value and the continuous optimization of business processes.
He emphasizes the opportunities opened up by megatrends such as digitalization and decarbonization for innovation and growth. Schwerdtfeger previously worked at HAWE Hydraulik SE for 20 years, most recently as CTO and member of the Management Board. Alexander Wiegand, CEO of Wika, emphasizes Schwerdtfeger's deep understanding of the industries and markets served and sees him in a key role for the future direction of Process Solutions.
