Vega starts construction of production and logistics center in Kuppenheim
The measurement technology manufacturer has started construction of a new site in Kuppenheim
This major project is part of Vega's growth strategy and aims to expand production capacity and strengthen global logistics. While Schiltach remains the headquarters, the new location in the "Ober-Hardrain" development plan offers additional opportunities for expansion and provides economic impetus in the region. Isabel Grieshaber, Managing Partner, emphasizes the importance of sustainable structures for securing the future.
Managing Director Markus Kniesel emphasizes the increase in efficiency of the production and logistics processes. Modern production and administration buildings with sustainable architecture, including photovoltaics and green areas, are being built on the 10.4 hectare site. Vega is aiming for gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council.
