Use of Asics Significantly Reduces Delivery Time

With their partnership, the specialist for optical components and the manufacturer of machine vision cameras are getting a grip on the existing supply problems.

By using Application Specific Integrated Circuits (Asics), the delivery times of the cameras are extremely shortened, even for large quantities, which enables prompt delivery of the Alvium USB 3.1 cameras.

Allied Vision’s Alvium USB 3.1 cameras are GenICam and USB3 Vision compliant. In addition, Windows, Linux and Linux-ARM systems can be integrated. The cameras use sensors from Onsemi and Sony.

Image processing cameras in stock are available for immediate delivery, other AV models have a delivery time of two to four weeks, whereby delivery times of other manufacturers are currently stated as 48 weeks in some cases.
