Trioptics: Change in Management Board
At the beginning of April, after 30 years, Eugen Dumitrescu is leaving the management of the Wedel-based company and handing over responsibility to a new, extended management team.
In addition to the already appointed managing directors Dr. Stefan Krey (CTO) and Jörn Lüthje (CFO), Kristin Holzhey (CEO) and Simon Zilian (CSO) will complete the new management team at Trioptics as of January 1st, 2022. Eugen Dumitrescu, who founded the company in 1991, will remain with the company as an active managing director until March 31, 2022 and then as an advisory board member. Trioptics GmbH has been part of the Jenoptik Group with its headquarters in Jena since September 2019.
Kristin Holzhey, who has been with Jenoptik since 2007, will be in charge of the specialist in optical measurement and production technology. After training as an industrial clerk at Jenoptik and completing her MBA in General Management in Great Britain, she held various positions at the Jenoptik Group, including as an advisor to the CEO. Kristin Holzhey has been Managing Director of Otto Vision Technology GmbH since 2019 and has been in charge of the integration of the Trioptics Group into the Jenoptik Group since 2020. From January 1st, 2022, Ms. Holzhey will be responsible for the strategic business unit "Optical Test & Measurement" at Jenoptik as Vice President and will be CEO of Trioptics.
Also new to the management team is Simon Zilian, who has been with Trioptics since 2005 and has played a key role in supporting the company on its growth path over the past 16 years. After graduating in physical engineering (FH) and gaining initial professional experience at eurolaser, he first switched to Trioptics as a sales engineer and was appointed sales manager in 2009. Simon Zilian has been a member of the Management Board since 2019. From January 1st, 2022, as CSO, he will be responsible for the areas of Sales, Marketing, Service and Customer Care of the Trioptics Group.
