Teledyne e2v enters into a technology and design collaboration with Airy3D. The first outcome of this partnership is the joint development of a low-cost, low-power, passive 2-megapixel global shutter sensor that produces 2D images and 3D depth maps, the Topaz5D.

A Topaz5D evaluation kit and monochrome and color sensor samples are now available for evaluation and design.
