Successful conclusion of the IVSM Fall Meeting 2025 in Haikou, China
The 2025 Autumn International Vision Standards Meeting (IVSM) took place from November 3 to 7 in Haikou, Hainan, and attracted over 120 R&D engineers worldwide.

Co-hosted by the China Machine Vision Union (CMVU) and Hainan University, the meeting provided a platform for global exchange in the field of machine vision standards. Nine sessions, including G3 standard meetings such as CoaXPress, USB3 Vision and GigE Vision, were held. The Plugfest tested the standards compliance of 55 product categories. Technical updates included the CXP3.0 version with 25Gbps copper transmission and USB3 Vision cable extensions.
GigE Vision plans to release GEV3.0, which integrates GenDC via RoCEv2 protocol to reduce CPU utilization. GenICam released the 2025.10 package and is working on further standards. The OPC Machine Vision group presented progress in OPC MV Part 2. The next IVSM conference will be organized by EMVA in Prague in April 2026 .
