The cooperation combines Safelog's software expertise with SEW-Eurodrive's drive and automation competence. Safelog will continue to develop its existing system, while SEW-Eurodrive will focus on mobile and stationary robots and automation solutions.

The software system will be offered by SEW-Eurodrive as a stand-alone product, bundle or integrated solution and will be used as a system integrator under the Maxolution brand. The aim is a flexible, scalable system that sets new standards in intralogistics. The solution will also be used in SEW-Eurodrive's own plants to demonstrate its potential. The partnership marks an important step towards the software-defined factory of the future.
