Schneider-Kreuznach relies on new corporate strategy

Schneider-Kreuznach is increasingly focusing on the growth engine industry. In the last three years, the organizational structure has been completely changed. The company is now well prepared for the rapidly growing market segment. "We touched everything: organization, management, production, development and sales," Dr. Thomas Kessler, Managing Director of the Schneider Group. Above all, higher speeds and flexibility are required in the industrial sector. Developments are driven forward together with customers. Schneider-Kreuznach sees strong potential in the increased focus on international markets, especially in Europe and Asia. In current planning, for example, increased sales activities are in India. In addition, the company wants to develop new industries in the future.

Schneider-Kreuznach does not want to leave the path of origin. The company traditionally has an excellent reputation for high quality photo and film lenses. There are also professional MPTV filters for film production and photo filters for the consumer market. "With the B + W filters, we have a strong market position, in the film sector we are on the road with FF-Primes and Cine-Xenars, and we are testing whether we want to play a role in film projection again," Dr. Thomas Kessler. The Group's sales initially declined in 2016 and rose again in the following year. Growth is expected again in 2018.
