Rollon inaugurates new plant in China
With the new plant in Suzhou, the company wants to expand local production and service capacities

The new plant near Shanghai was officially opened on June 25, 2024 in the presence of Ju Zheng-ting (President of Rollon China), Walter Gobbi (APAC Sales Director), Yuji Hayashi (APAC Sales Manager Actuators & Systems), Federico Banti (Group Director Marketing and Business Development) and all employees of Rollon China. Covering a total area of over 5,000 m², the new site in Suzhou offers modern office space of around 250 m² and a large production area of over 4,900 m². The close proximity to GGB, a company that, like Rollon, belongs to the Timken Group, creates valuable synergies in terms of resource integration, benefit maximization and operating cost reduction.
Looking to the future, Rollon and Timken are actively working on integrating Nadella (acquired by The Timken Company in 2023) into the new plant in Suzhou. The integration process is already underway and it is expected that Nadella's Changxing plant will be relocated to Rollon's Suzhou site by the end of the year. This merger will further strengthen Rollon's capabilities and market position in China.
