Robert Franz becomes CEO of Allied Vision and TKH's German 2D Vision Group

Allied Vision Technologies GmbH ("Allied Vision"), part of the TKH Group, has appointed Robert Franz as Managing Director. Along with this role, Franz will also assume the role of CEO for the German 2D vision companies within TKH Group, which include companies such as Chromasens, NET, SVS-Vistek, Mikrotron and Nerian. These companies all operate under the TKH Vision umbrella.

Franz has many years of experience in companies in the automation technology and machine vision industries. Among other positions, he was head of the global optical sensing business unit at Honeywell, president of Rittal in the Americas region and senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Datalogic. Franz is a lawyer and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from TIAS Business School in Utrecht (NL).

"I am looking forward to working with a great team to further develop the products and strategy of Allied Vision and TKH Vision and to grow the business together," says Franz.

"With Robert Franz, we have found an excellent candidate with a strong background in strategy, sales and product management to take over the role of CEO of Allied Vision as of January 1, 2023," said Alexander van der Lof, Chairman and CEO of TKH Group.
