Polytec is cooperating with Sartorius Data Analytics (formerly Umetrics) in the field of process analytics with immediate effect. "This allows us to take advantage of the synergies between the spectrometer measurements and the data preparation, model creation (calibration) and analysis software and solve an even greater number of metrological tasks," says Thomas Schaich, head of the Analytics business unit at Polytec.

Measurement data acquired with Polytec's NIR spectrometer systems can be easily imported into Sartorius Simca software for processing and creating appropriate calibration models. The full integration of Simca-Q into Polytec's PAS-Serv process software now allows rapid multiparameter analyses to be performed and the results to be forwarded to process control via various industrial interfaces.

Polytec expects the collaboration to provide easier access to users who are already using Sartorius' data analysis software. In addition, the company can now offer a complete portfolio from NIR instruments to statistical analysis.
