Pleora and Imavix enter into partnership
The two companies aim to provide a fully integrated, standards-compliant GigE Vision 3.0 transmitter-to-receiver pipeline

The aim is to simplify the development of high-performance cameras and embedded imaging systems while ensuring a scalable architecture for increasing bandwidth requirements.
The first solution combines the GigE Vision 3.0 IP Core from imavix with the eBUS SDK from Pleora for 10 and 25 Gbit/s designs and is designed for bandwidths beyond 100 Gbit/s. Instead of classic UDP pipelines, RoCEv2 (Remote Direct Memory Access over Converged Ethernet) is used to enable deterministic, low-latency transmission with direct device-to-host memory access without CPU involvement.
The eBUS SDK provides libraries for image acquisition and device control and, according to the provider, reduces the processing load when receiving via multiple GigE Vision links by more than 20 percent. The integrated solution is GigE Vision 3.0 and GenICam compliant and addresses industrial, medical and defense image processing applications.
