The group generated sales of €341 million in 2024, representing a decline of 21 percent compared to the previous year.
Despite weak demand for capital goods, the outlook remains positive, with opportunities in markets such as China, India, and South America, as well as in rail technology and the hydrogen industry. Susanne Kunschert emphasizes the importance of putting the customer first and focuses on local consulting and training. The number of employees rose slightly, particularly in sales and services.
Pilz is targeting future-oriented industries with digital motion control systems and automation solutions for hydrogen. New sensor technology products and the use of AI are designed to make processes safer and more efficient. Pilz is also expanding its range of services in the field of industrial security. Despite uncertain forecasts, the company expects a slight increase in sales for 2025 and sees good prospects in Asia and America.
