Peter Stiefenhöfer to Serve as EMVA's Media Contact
Peter Stiefenhöfer will take over media and press duties for the EMVA effective August 1, 2026. He succeeds Andreas Breyer in this role, who has been responsible for the association’s media relations for many years.
Peter Stiefenhöfer is an automation engineer and has been working in the automation and machine vision industry for more than 30 years. He began his career as an editor at the trade journal “Markt & Technik.” He then moved to Stemmer Imaging, where he served as marketing and PR manager for 17 years.
Stiefenhöfer continues to run his agency, PS Marcom Services—which specializes in PR and marketing for companies in the machine vision industry—alongside his work for EMVA.
Andreas Breyer joined EMVA in October 2008. Initially, his focus was on market research and journalistic tasks. Later, his role shifted more toward the association’s media relations. Going forward, Breyer will work at Tekom Deutschland, where he will coordinate iiRDS, an international standard for the dynamic provision of information in the fields of digitization, AI, and smart factories.
